What is Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T.)

01 What is A.R.T

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), is an innovated form of psychotherapy that uses eye movements (similar to those used in EMDR treatment.) It focuses on the negative image(s) connected to the overwhelming emotions and physical sensations you are experiencing and works to help resolve many of the issues that bring you into therapy.

02 What can I expect from A.R.T

A Accelerated Resolution therapist will complete an initial assessment with the client to identify a couple of the images they would like to work on. The therapist will then guide the client through a series of visualizations and physical sensations to help them heal their identified concerns.

03 How does A.R.T work

Accelerated Resolution Therapy is a client lead technique that allows you to get “unstuck” from the overwhelming images, emotions, and physical sensations you have been experiencing. I will guide you through eliminating those distressing images and replacing them with positive images of your choice.

04 How can I benefit from A.R.T

What can I expect from Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)?

Accelerated Resolution Therapy is a quick and effective way to create lasting change. ART does not require you to talk about your painful past in order to heal from it. You, the Client, are in control of what is happening in session.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy is an innovated approach building off of EMDR and combining a multitude of traditional psychotherapeutic techniques utilized in...

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy

  • Gestalt Therapy

  • Guided Imagery

  • Breif Psychodynamic Therapy

  • Exposure Therapy

  • Cognitive Therapy

ART works to brain to tap into its innate healing properties by directly reprogramming the way in which distressing memories and images are stored in your brain. Everything we do together is always at your own pace; you will have the opportunity to shares as much or as little as you would like during this process. You’re in control of your own healing. It allows a person to remember a painful memory, without overwhelming and intense emotions and images that you’re used to.

ART won’t remove the facts about the situation but it will alleviate the pain and suffering you have been experiencing. You will leave the session feeling better than when you came in.
