Are you tired of constantly being judged and then judging yourself?
You keep reaching for something inside yourself to change so you can fit into social norms. You feel a lot of shame and anxiety for just trying to be who you truly are.
You might be…
Struggling to find relationships where you can be your authentic self.
Overwhelmed because you are not sure how the beliefs you grew up with, fit into your life now.
Feeling the pressure to fit and shrink into society's version of “normal.”
Struggling to comfortable taking up any space.
Just starting to question things, you’re overwhelmed with all the possibilities and need a place where you can feel supported in exploring your options.
Trying to figure out how to share your true identity with your loved ones.
Struggling to find meaningful relationships.
Looking for a community where you feel supported to live your authentic self.
Maybe you just need a therapist who isn’t constantly focused on the fact you’re LGBTQ+ but openly listens to the challenges you're facing without judgment.
What is LGBTQ+ Therapy like?
01 This is a place for you
I’m here to support you in every area of your life; from the way you show up at work, to your relationships with friends and family, to learning how to deal with unsupportive people. It’s a space where you can process painful experiences you haven’t been able to share with others. A place for you to get comfortable with connecting to your authentic self in a judgement free environment.
02 I See you for more than just your LGBTQ+ identity
Many clients come to me, are in need of a therapist who understands the inner workings of identifying as LGBTQ+ but doesn’t want their therapist to solely focus on this one aspect of their lives. You are many parts that make a whole.
I’m here to support you in whatever you’re facing, whether it’s anxiety, depression, sexuality or relationship issues with an understanding of what it’s like to identify as a part of the LGBTQ+ community.
03 It’s all about Collaboration
As a part of our work, together we will decide what’s important to you and what you want to work on. Maybe that’s directly related to identifying at LGBTQ+ but maybe it doesn’t, and that’s ok too. This work is not focused solely on who you are or are not, but what you need out of therapy, however that looks to you.
Imagine if you could get through your painful past so you can learn to love your unique identity while not allowing others to influence how you feel about yourself. Connect with others in your community to create positive, healthy, lasting relationships with likeminded people. Feel confident and comfortable taking up space.

Do you notice you spend all day thinking about everything you should/could/would have done differently, which then leads to you staying up all night thinking and replaying every detail of your day. Maybe you're worried about interacting with others because you don't want to say or do the wrong thing. You can't silence that inner critic no matter how hard you try. You’re struggling to understand why one minute you're fine and the next minute your heart is racing, your palms are sweaty and/or the space you're in is too small. All you know is that you feel overwhelmed with everything you have going on.
